Course Overview
Be prepared to save a life. Our CPR-only course teaches you the skills to confidently respond in an emergency and successful completion provides you with the certificate HLTDAID009 - Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
In this practical course, you’ll learn how to:
- Recognise and respond to an unconscious person who is not breathing normally
- Perform effective CPR on adults and infants
- Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Rotate first aiders effectively to maintain compressions
- Manage complications such as regurgitation or vomiting during CPR
- Handover to emergency services and report incident details
- Recognise psychological impacts of an incident and seek appropriate support
Course Location & DurationWe come to you! This course is delivered onsite at your workplace, gym, studio, aged care facility, childcare centre, factory school or home anywhere on the Gold Coast and surrounding region, from Coomera to Coolangatta and everywhere in between, including: Southport, Robina, Burleigh Heads, Helensvale, Broadbeach, Varsity Lakes, and Palm Beach. This blended course includes a required online e-learning module, which can be completed at your own pace and convenience prior to the session.
