About Us

Inspire First Aid is a South East Queensland-based training provider that specialises in first aid and CPR

training. We offer services that cover essential life-saving skills, structured through nationally recognised

qualifications such as HLTAID011 and HLTAID009. Training and assessment delivered on behalf of Allens

Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909.

Inspire First Aid is dedicated to empowering individuals and communities with vital first aid skills through

high-quality training. Our primary mission is to promote safety and instill confidence in participants by

providing expert-led training that is culturally sensitive and tailored to the needs of diverse groups. We aim to

fill the gap in effective first aid education, especially in rural and indigenous communities, ensuring they have

access to essential life-saving skills.

Meet The Team

David Stearne

Co-Founder

David is an AHPRA registered paramedic with 9 years experience working in Queensland, Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Papua New Guinea (partnered with AFP). He holds a Master of Paramedic Science (Critical Care Practice) and is engaged as a sessional academic in paramedic science with Queensland University of Technology. His clinical experience coupled with his evidence-based educational focus has influenced his passion for delivering high quality health education and training to the public.

Rick Irving

Co-Founder

Rick Irving is an AHPRA registered paramedic with 23 years experience as an Intensive Care Paramedic, ICP Rapid Responder and Station Manager with NSW Ambulance. As a co-founder of Inspire First Aid, Rick is passionate about educational development and empowering participants with essential first aid skills.
